Harlech
This was originally a custom dome for one of our customers and was made using a 4 frequency dome (more tringles than the smaller domes). We decided to do something a little different with the door entrance on this one and really like it.

We can help. If you are wanting a certain size dome, joining domes, more doors or windows, partially clad in timber, anything. We use the latest 3D software so we can plan your build and give you a look at your design first.
Why Our Domes?

Timber Frame
Our dome frames are made from the highest quality treated timber to ensure strength, longevity and stunning looks. Each triangle is cut using precise technology to ensure each joint is perfect to maximise the strength of the geodesic form.
We also build each individual triangle so should one need replacing later in life they can simply be unscrewed and replaced making maintenance very easy. -
Polycarbonate Glass
We use the highest quality polycarbonate glass on all our domes. The polycarbonate is 100x stronger than glass so safety is our highest concern. It is also has a UV coating on the polycarbonate to protect it from harmful UV rays.
All our domes come with atleast 2 opening windows to allow better air circulation on those warmer days. Although the geodesic shape does make them 30% more efficient at heating. -
Top Air Vent
We have a unique top air vent on our domes, designed by us. It works on a skylight system so you are able to open and close the vent to help adjust the temperature inside the dome.
All our domes also have opening windows on the side of the dome. Combined with the top air vent this allows hot air to escape out of the top of the dome whilst drawing cooler air in from lower down. -
Geodesic Shape
Why do we use the geodesic frame? Well simply put it is one of the strongest forms found in nature and has incredible strength, able to withstand heavy loads and earthquakes. It is also very good for windy locations as its natural shape makes it very wind resistant and has been reported to withstand hurricane winds.
Plus its such an amazing shape, with good energy.
Delivery and Installation.
We deliver and install all our domes within the UK. Our expert team of dome builders will personally assemble your dome on site. This can vary from a couple of days to a couple of weeks depending on location and size. Contact us to make sure of time frame and cost for your location.
Foundations
Do you need foundations?
Yes, for the smaller domes (under 4.5m diameter) a simple ditch filled with gravel and compacted to allow water to drain away. For the larger pods we recommend concrete or similar to help support the dome.
This needs to be in place before delivery of your dome can take place and be level otherwise we cannot deliver and install your dome.
